General Statement of Duties: Assist ILCNSCA to provide Office systems organization and human resources functions. Promote and preserve Independent Living philosophy and consumer control.

General Statement of Duties and Responsibilities as assigned by Supervisor:
- Coordinate the human resource benefits, personnel information according to Agency policies and procedures.
- Coordinate all recruitment, hiring and training personnel functions along with maintenance of accurate recording of such electronically and via paper.
- Assist with development of recruitment systems and coordinate those relationships and collaborations.
- Coordinate all systems for insuring all personnel have completed and understand ILCNSCA policies and procedures along with benefits, time accrual, etc.
- Insure all ILCNSCA Personnel information is secured and up to date including Annual and Introductory reviews.
- Maintain all Board and Friends of information according to ILCNSCA procedures.
- Assist with reasonable accommodations for identified staff.
- Coordinate the development and implementation of tracking of consumer feedback as well as staff training development feedback.
- Maintain inventory of all ILCNSCA supplies and equipment, including capital purchases.
- Coordinate ordering of all supplies for ILCNSCA to maintain sufficient inventory for operations.
- Coordinate equipment purchases and systems maintenance.
- Develop and maintain all archiving of consumer, fiscal, programmatic and personnel files.
- Coordinate all bulk and small mailings for Agency.
- Enter data on work performed in Agency data system daily.
- Coordinate at times the distribution of information to Staff and Community on particular subjects including advocacy issues.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual reports as required.
- Seek supervision and training as needed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor Degree in Human Services, a related field, or equivalent life experience.
- Person with disability and / or with skills necessary to establish effective peer relationships.
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Computer literate in Microsoft Office word processing, database, spreadsheet, and email applications.
- Well organized and ability to multi-task.
- Prior experience working in an independent living center for at least one year preferred.
- Experience in Human Resources for at least three years preferred.
- Commitment and skills to work as part of ILCNSCA team.
- Experience working as part of a team.
- Experience maintaining consumer and agency confidentiality.
- Responsible for own transportation.
- Bi-lingual English / Spanish desired.
- Must be committed to Independent Living Philosophy and the IL paradigm.
Salary: $15.50 per hour to start.
Hours: 14 hours per week.
Benefits: As stated in agency Employee Manual.
Review Policy: Supervisor will complete performance appraisal with employee at the completion of a three-month introductory period. Job duties and assignments will be reviewed at this time. Thereafter, performance appraisals will be completed and reviewed annually.
