Bus services, fares to be addressed

Topeka Metro will hold four public meetings in September to present information related to a fare increase, discontinuation of evening and  Sunday service and reduction of the paratransit service area.

Members of the public are encouraged to attend and offer testimony.

Meetings will take place at the following times, dates and places:

• Noon  Sept. 7, Quincy Street Station, 820 S.E. Quincy.
  
  
• 10 a.m. Sept. 10, Quincy Street Station.
  
  
• 6 p.m. Sept. 12, Topeka and Shawnee County Public Library, Marvin Auditorium, 1515 S.W. 10th.
  
  
• 3:15 p.m. Sept. 19, Quincy Street Station, 820 S.E. Quincy.

Requests for special services should be made no later than 24 hours in advance of the meetings by calling Quincy Street Station at 783-7000.
