The Statewide Independent Living Council of Kansas(SILCK), in association with the Kansas Department of Social and Rehabilitation Services, is seeking public input on the development of its next three-year State Plan for Independent Living (SPIL). Suggested topics for discussion can include objectives to be achieved under the SPIL, outreach to unserved and underserved populations and minority groups, extent and scope of independent living services, and the maintenance and growth of a statewide network of centers for independent living. The hearing is open to the public and will be held in an accessible location. Materials will be available in alternate formats.
